OMG, it’s Tea!!! Hi, Teara Bryan.

I don’t even know how to introduce Teara Bryan.  An ex-Las Vegas native, she brims with so much character and energy, it’s hard to fit her into a box.  Her weirdness is the type that intrigues, magnetizes and has you asking the questions: “Who is this woman that looks so much like Kristen Bell?  What exactly does she blog about on The Pipsqueak Chronicles?”  and “How can I be friends with her?”

How could you describe yourself in 5 words?

Sexy, hot, short, hilarious and hungry.  (Evil Teara)

Sarcastic, goofy, strong, independent, and determined.  (Good Teara)

Teara had proclaimed that 2016 would be her year of YES.  She was tired of having that little voice in her head feeding her negative thoughts and decided to tell it to SHUT IT! and 2016 has proved to be a pretty amazing year for her.  A year ago, her flying skills were quite lackluster.  She has now mastered the skill of crashing her bike as she gracefully flies through the air.  “It’s quite amazing, actually”, states Teara.  Other than the MTB acrobatics so many people envy her for, she’s also gotten into rock climbing, paddle boarding, and snowboarding.  With so many activities under her belt, she does have a hard time managing play and adulting with procrastination being her kryptonite.  Her biggest goal is to make more time for herself to be in the outdoors and explore new places.  Her biggest regret overall would be not traveling more.  She’s such a wonderluster at heart!

Aside from being abducted by aliens last week and discovering that Space is weird (her words, not mine), the last adventure she had taken was this past summer going to the Redwood Forest for the first time.  Teara explains, “It was absolutely breathtaking and more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.  It was quite the adventure as nothing went right, our vehicle broke down, and my parents had to come rescue us… but we still saw so many amazing places and enjoyed the beauty of it all.”

See the Kristen Bell resemblance?

Teara had to give up her dream of becoming a Vegas stripper when her family moved them back to Utah (wink).  Now working for a telecommunications company she loves her job and the other strippers, I mean employees.  Challenging, yet rewarding, her value to the team is highly recognized.  Is this something she’ll stick with for the next 40 years?  More than likely not, and I believe there is no age limit on deciding to pursue your dream job.  Whether that be stripping or whatever else floats your boat.

Have you done anything lately worth remembering?  I stubbed my toe the other day… I don’t want to remember it but my damn foot feels broken so I can’t help it.

Success means so many different things to us all, but Teara wants nothing more than to enjoy the hell out of this ride known as life!  Her year of YES has her well on her way to living how she wants.  It’s so easy for a person to say, “I wish”, but Teara has gone after life with gusto.  She wants to be able to say that she’s lived her life and done everything that she’s wanted to without regret. For Teara, this is being successful AF!

So, in the meantime, what are you doing to pursue your dreams right now? Getting out of debt and setting myself up to be able to do things at the drop of a dime.  Travel, volunteer, go back to school, etc.

With 2017 looming on the horizon, it’s been quite the year for our little Teara.  Aside from mastering making whiskey sours, she’s able to say that she’s proud of herself.  She’s proud of the courage she’s developed when she decided to stop letting fear control her.  Proud of the things she’s tried, regardless if she was successful or was an epic failure.  Due to this, she’s happier, more confident, and wildly independent.

If you were someone’s life coach, what would you tell them?  Do you”, give it a try…what have you got to lose?

Fun and furious questions:

  1. If you could do it all over again, would you change anything? No, I wouldn’t.
  2. How old would you be, if you didn’t know how old you are? 24
  3. What activity makes you lose track of time? Being in nature… in any way.
  4. Best cheat indulgence? OMG Brownies, or cupcakes…
  5. If you could only speak one word today, what would it be?  Hi.

Teara is also a Adventure Some Women Ambassador.  It’s a Facebook community that inspires women to travel, adventure, talk advice and tips, and share anything they want to talk about.  To stalk Teara Bryan, you can find her on Instagram and Facebook.  Don’t forget to check out her blog, The Pipsqueak Chronicles!

  1. This chick sounds AMAZING. She can “yes” me all she wants. (Take that as you will, Madame Pipsqueak.)

Sounds like a character in a Neil Gaiman novel. That’s a compliment.

I like the “hi” response. I feel it’s realistic. 😉
